    Sailing team finishes 8th the ACC Championships@ Harvard

    November 13th, 2011

    The Co-ed team once again traveled to Boston for the second time this semester to compete in the ACC Championship hosted by Harvard and MIT. The team started out the event strong leading the regatta for the first 3 sets, with winds 8kts WSW, but couldn't hold on slowly falling back to 12th as the winds increased to 18-20kt. Day 2 the winds had moderated back to 5-14kts SSW and the team climbed back to a strong showing of 8th overall. full scores here.

    The Sailing Canes are a Club sport and unlike varsity teams they do not receive funds from the University for out of district travel.   If you would like to support the Canes please make a donation
