    David Hernandez finishes 7th at the ICSA Single Handed National Championships In Chicago

    UMiami senior David Hernandez finished 7th at this year ICSA National Single Handed Championship hostd by Chicago YC. Thirty-six of college’s best Laser sailors arrived at Chicago Yacht Club’s Belmont Station to compete in the LaserPerformance Men’s and Women’s Singlehanded National Championships for full reports of the days racing can be found here.     The Sailing Canes are a Club sport and unlike varsity teams they do not receive funds from the University for out of district travel.   If you would like to support the Canes please make a donation
