The Women's team traveled to New Orlean's to compete in the 76th running of the Sugar Bowl regatta Dec 30&31, finishing 6th overall. This was the first out of district intersectional for the women's team which just this semester formed as a separate club sport from the co-ed team. Several of the women's team members are from New Orleans so this was a great oppurtunity for the team to experience the local hospitality and gain some valuable experience against other teams in SEISA. For Kaity Sickling this was her first big regatta after being introduced to sailing through the team's learn to sail weekends for the recreational club. You can check out her interview on Sailgroove.
